Interior & Exterior Painting services in Weston
Weston is a quiet, heavily wooded town north of Westport, with homes spread out on large lots and a small town center. Houses are mostly colonials, contemporaries and farmhouses, many with cedar clapboard, cedar shingle or vertical board siding. Some are stained and some are painted. Deep shade from oak and maple keeps walls damp long after rain, so mildew, moss and soft wood near the ground are the common problems. Long driveways and sloped lots make ladder setup harder than on a flat suburban street, and we look at access closely when we visit. Winters are colder than at the shore, so outdoor work fits from late spring to early fall. Interior work, from plaster repair to trim and stair rails, goes on all year.

HOA and local rules
A repaint on its own rarely needs a building permit. If boards, trim or sheetrock are being replaced, ask the Town of Weston Building Department first.
